ect.Ģ.If you dont already have it download IE 11 from here ( ) As im sure you know on Carmas support page there is an update from MS that they claim will fix the problem this update is kb2670838 which oddly enough is a IE 10 update. Okay now here are all the steps i took to get the game to run, im going to spare you the giant run around i had to take to figure it all out and just give you a list of instructions.ġ.Make sure your windows is up to date.( EVERYTHING) dotnet framework ect. In my case the game was trying to write to a file / location it didnt have access / permission to. you should be able to find this out via the crashdump file Carmageddon: Reincarnation will make in your C:\Users\UserName\Documents\Carmageddon Reincarnation Dumps. but i hope it does!!)įirst off i had to figure out why it was crashing.
Where you try to Launch Carmageddon: Reincarnation it gets to the splash screen, then BONK! windows error and you get a message that read "we told you this would happen". I and many others have been experiencing this problem.
